Want to join our team? Do you want to lead high-impact events, professional networking, and social activities for the law community? The Te Piringa Events Society is looking for passionate students to help us enrich the Law School experience.
Whether you are a social media star, an admin pro, or a driven student eager to support the student body, we want to hear from you. While all of our Officer roles are currently filled for the year, we are still actively accepting applications for our General Committee.

General Committee Roles: Applications will be referred to the relevant Officer. Each Officer has the authority to appoint up to three (3) General Committee members to assist them with specific projects and duties.
Officer Roles: Applications are currently closed as all positions have been filled.

Eligibility: Membership is open to all currently enrolled LLB, LLM, DipLaw, PhD Law, and LLD students at the University of Waikato.

Executive Leadership: The Society is led by a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Appointed Officer Roles: These roles (Social Media, Marketing, Events, and External Engagement) are currently filled.
General Committee: Not ready for a full leadership role or missed the Officer deadline? Officers can recruit up to three General Committee Members each to assist with specific projects and duties. This is our primary area for recruitment!

Social Media Officer: Manages the Society’s online presence and digital engagement.
Marketing Officer: Focuses on branding, strategic promotion, and increasing Society visibility.
Events Officer: Leads the logistics and delivery of diverse events and networking opportunities.
External Engagement Officer: Facilitates connections with legal professionals, alumni, and external stakeholders.
